The UVPP-900 vacuum casting furnace is designed for melting heat-resistant nickel-based alloys. The type of crystallization is equiaxial. The UVPP-900 furnace is one of the new models of the UVPP furnace series and has a similar design and construction. The UVPP-900 can be equipped with an induction unit for 300, 600, 900 or 1000 kg.

The UVPP-900 furnace includes several functional units:
- Melting chamber unit with alloy melting and casting units located on the sliding block;
- An airlock chamber unit with a mold feeding mechanism for filling and a vacuum process gate that ensures loading and unloading of the molds being filled without depressurizing the melting chamber;
- A loading device that loads the charge into the crucible and measures the temperature of the melt under vacuum conditions;
- A vacuum system that provides discharge in the furnace when the melting and casting of metal;
- Water cooling system of the plant;
- Control system.
