The USPO-1.8 unit is designed for automatic non-consumable electrode welding of longitudinal joints of sheets and shells in a protective gas environment of products made of structural, anti-corrosion, heat-resistant steels and alloys with or without the supply of filler wire. Welding is carried out with a continuously burning or pulsed arc of rectified direct current.
