Description

Plant "USKS-25" for electric arc welding of chemically active metals and alloys in inert gas environment

Detailed information PDF

The "USKS-25" unit is designed for electric arc welding of chemically active metals and alloys based on them in an inert environment.

The work process is carried out in a sealed chamber with a controlled argon environment by a manual welding torch.

The work process is carried out in a sealed chamber with a controlled argon environment by a manual welding torch.

The products are loaded into the vacuum chamber through a sliding front cover. After loading the products, the cover is pressed against the flange of the vacuum chamber by pneumatic clamps. A vacuum of 5×10-5 mm Hg is created in the chamber using a vacuum system. When the specified vacuum is reached, argon is pumped into the chamber from the inlet ramp through the control and regulating device to an excess pressure of 0.004 to 0.005 MPa. The chamber with loaded products is ready for welding.

The work process is controlled - switching on and off the welding arc, regulating the welding current - by means of a foot pedal. The working pressure of argon inside the vacuum chamber is maintained by a control and regulating device. In case of emergency pressure excess, it is released by a safety valve. The welding arc is powered by a power source "VSVU-400".

The welding process is carried out by a manual torch through manual (glove) inputs inside the chamber. Visual observation of the process is carried out through the portholes

The installation includes the following main units and systems:

- Working chamber;

- Sliding cover;

- Manipulator;

- Vacuum system;

- Electrical wiring;

- Power source;

- Water-cooled torch RGA-400;

- Control system.

1. Working chamber.

The working chamber contains: the welded product with equipment on the faceplate of the manipulator installed on the sliding cover of the chamber, a manual torch on a suspension.

The walls of the chamber are equipped with glove inputs and viewing windows, vacuum system outputs and gas analysis devices. The working chamber is equipped with gloves and viewing windows for the welder. The welding process with a non-consumable electrode is carried out with a welding torch.

2. Sliding lid.

The sliding lid is designed to tightly close the chamber and serves to feed the welded part into the chamber together with the manipulator and roll it out after welding.

A vacuum seal is laid along the perimeter of the lid. The lid is equipped with sealed entries for power cables of the welding head and control cables of the mechanisms.

The lid is installed through the posts on the trolley frame. The lid moves along the track using a longitudinal movement mechanism.

A power source for welding and a CNC cabinet are installed on the trolley.

3. Manipulator;

The manipulator provides fastening, positioning and movement during manual welding of cylindrical, conical and other products with equipment. The manipulator is mounted as a console on a sliding cover.

4. Vacuum system.

The vacuum system consists of two lines: a forevacuum line based on a vane-rotor and booster double-rotor pump, and a high-vacuum line based on a diffusion and rotary pump.

The high-vacuum unit is equipped with a water-cooled trap to prevent vacuum oil from entering the chamber.

Pneumatic valves are provided to shut off the high-vacuum and forevacuum lines from the chamber.

5. Electrical wiring.

The electrical wiring is designed to provide power supply from the control cabinet with electrical equipment to the drives of the cross-turn table, rotator, welding torches, microswitches, electric motors of the sliding cover, to the elements of the vacuum and pneumatic systems, to supply control circuits to the consoles, pedals and elements of the water cooling system.

The electrical wiring is laid in metal sleeves, protective boxes and cable channels.

6. Power source.

The universal rectifier "VSVU-400" is designed to power automatic and manual arc welding units for non-consumable electrode compressed, continuous and pulsed arc of heat-resistant, stainless steels and titanium alloys in an argon environment, as well as for welding carbon steels with coated electrodes.

7. Water-cooled torch RGA-400.

The manual torch for welding in a controlled environment RGA-400 is the working element of the unit. The design of the torch prevents direct temperature impact of the gas diffuser on the torch body, which protects the torch and extends its service life.

8. Control system.

The control system of the unit, built on the PLC - PC architecture, performs the following functions:

- control and adjustment of welding process modes;

− manipulator control;

− pressure control in the working chamber;

− archive visualization on the computer monitor;

− registration and storage of process parameters with reference to a specific product and real time;

− conversion of the generated database into an Excel table format;

− output to the printer of the process passport;

− formation of archive and emergency files, event file.
