Description

Elevator vacuum furnace “PVV-900-20/13” for heat treatment

Detailed information PDF
The vacuum electric resistance furnace "PVV-900-20/13" is designed for heat treatment of titanium alloy parts.

The furnace "PVV-900-20/13" consists of the following main units:
Heating chamber,
Retractable self-propelled hearth,
Elevator,
Gas cooling system,
Vacuum system,
Water cooling system,
Pneumatic system,
Electrical wiring,
Control system.

Structurally, the furnace is made in the form of a vertical vacuum chamber consisting of a heating chamber fixed on the elevator posts, a retractable self-propelled hearth moving along a rail track.

The heating chamber is made of sheet carbon steel. Flanges are welded to the ends of the cylinder for fastening the upper cover and for pressing the cover of the self-propelled hearth. The chamber has a water cooling jacket divided into zones, for fastening thermocouples, current leads in the chamber, branch pipes are welded. The top cover and the cover of the self-propelled hearth have an elliptical shape, made of carbon steel with a water cooling jacket, protective screens are attached to the inside of the covers.

The gas cooling system provides a gas quenching mode.
Cold gas enters the chamber and cools the charge. Then the gas passes through the heat exchanger, cools, and moves in the opposite direction, cooling the guide partitions and heating up. Inert gas is supplied to the unit from the gas system, consisting of a receiver, a ramp with gas cylinders, and gas fittings.

The vacuum system consists of a forevacuum pumping line and two high-vacuum pumping lines. Forevacuum pumping is created by pumps. Pneumatic valves and sensors are installed on the lines to ensure control, as well as valves that close automatically when the pump is turned off, which prevents oil from being ejected from the pump into the pipeline.

The water cooling system is divided into two circuits and consists of pressure and drain manifolds. One circuit cools the vacuum system and transformers, and the other cools the chamber cover jackets, chamber current leads, heat exchangers and the chamber itself.

The pneumatic system is used to control the pneumatic drives of the vacuum valves, includes an air preparation unit, a filter.

The electrical wiring is designed to provide power supply to the heaters from the transformers and to provide power to the control circuits of the mechanisms of the units with electric drives.
The power cabinet, control cabinet, operator cabinet, cabinet with regulators, transformer cabinet, control panel, drive cabinet and SVO panel are designed to ensure uninterrupted operation and control of the technological process performed on the furnace.
